Hi everyone,
As you might know, we’re in the middle of a writers’ strike and SAG-AFTRA might go on strike soon. There are many issues on the table that have to do with writers and actors being able to make a living and being able to have a sustainable career. You can check out the official info from SAG-AFTRA and the WGA on their websites. They can tell you better than I can about what’s going on.
So, in the meantime, us actors and writers are keeping ourselves going as best we can. Back in April, before any of these things, I filmed a comedy scene for my demo reel. My friend, Nicholas Thurkettle, his friend, Taylar, and filmmaker, Tosh Cameron, helped me to put it on film. My co-star in the short is Scott. I have learned that TV comedy is my niche and I wanted to have footage that shows what I can do. I have watched AP Bio and Abbott Elementary and decided to make a short inspired by those series. And Classroom Comedy is the result. Here is the YouTube link: https://youtu.be/fqPyEvoHi1c
And you can catch Nicholas in the feature film, Moon Students, which will be soon available on Apple iTunes! Check out all the info about the film at: https://www.moonstudents.com/ and on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/moonstudentsfilm/
