I have some good news. No, I didn’t get on a television series. I was cast in the Christmas Carol production at Theatreworks in Peoria (Arizona) as an adult ensemble member. No, I don’t think I have any lines, but they do pay and my costume is going to be professionally-made and awesome. They are a professional company and hire Equity actors, but are not yet an EMC theatre. This show is going to be a way better experience than American Pastorela was last year with no disorganized script, no cramped stage, an actual crew, no DIY costumes, and no broken props. On Saturday, I found out that I got a callback for the film project I auditioned for two weeks ago, the one with Gay Gilbert. I am really happy about that. I haven’t acted in anything since last March.
I’ll also be auditioning for the productions of South Pacific and The Man with the Pointed Toes at Hale Center Theatre. Those begin rehearsals after the run of A Christmas Carol. So, yes, things are looking up. I just hope that I can book some major jobs some day soon. There has been a setback or two with my SAG short project, so we can’t begin on it yet. Well, I thought I would have more to say, but I guess that’s all.
